ABOUT THE EXAM
The Ontario Jurisprudence, Ethics and Professionalism Exam is administered by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP), and is a registration requirement for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Ontario. It covers the laws, regulations and standards of pharmacy practice, setting the foundation for clinical patient care. The exam is based on the seven sections as outlined by the Ontario College of Pharmacists. The exam is offered three times a year in February, June and October.
The exam contains 100 questions with an allotted time of 150 minutes. The scoring is based on a minimal expected pass level which varies from exam to exam.
